Short version: we collect as little as possible, your uploads never leave your device, and ads only run if you say yes.

What we collect

Motzine has no accounts and no logins. We don't ask for your name or email to read comics. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email is handled by Zoho Campaigns under their privacy terms. If you tip or shop, those happen on Ko-fi and Big Cartel under their terms.

The Make-a-Zine tool

Any PDF you use with the Make-a-Zine tool is processed entirely in your own browser. It is never uploaded to us or stored on any server. When you close the tab, it's gone.

Cookies & ads

If you accept cookies, we show ads through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve and measure ads. Google may use this data under its own policies. If you decline, ads are not loaded. You can change your mind by clearing this site's cookies in your browser. Reading and the Make-a-Zine tool work fully whether you accept or decline.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand traffic. This does not identify you.

Your choices

You can decline ad cookies at any time, unsubscribe from the newsletter with one click, and reach us with any request at the contact below.
